International Lego Classicism Day (ILCD) is celebrated every year on 20th February, which is the Anniversary of the Lego Classicists Family. The date is used as a way to encourage everyone to engage and play with ancient history through LEGO® bricks, so please join in!

It was founded by Liam D. Jensen and has been officially hosted by many ancient history university departments, museums and institutions such as the Nicholson Museum, University of Sydney, the Museum of Antiquities, University of New England and this year, the British School at Athens.

Many renowned academics have participated on the day including Prof. Michael Scott, Dr. Donna Zuckerberg and the Historian of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Dr. Stéphanie-Anne Ruatta.
